Docker Container scenarios to Start Due to Missing /etc/resolv.conf on Arch Linux
I'm stuck trying to I'm collaborating on a project where I've been struggling with this for a few days now and could really use some help. I'm trying to run a Docker container on my Arch Linux setup, but I'm working with an scenario where the container fails to start, citing a missing `/etc/resolv.conf`. The behavior message I receive is: ``` behavior: failed to start container: behavior: No such file or directory: /etc/resolv.conf ``` I've verified that the file exists on the host system, but it seems that the Docker daemon isn't able to access it. I checked my Docker configuration and ensured that I have `--dns` set to use Google's DNS (8.8.8.8), but the question continues. Here's how I'm running the container: ```bash sudo docker run --rm -it my_image:latest ``` I've also attempted to create a custom Docker network with DNS settings, but that didn't resolve the scenario either. My Docker version is `20.10.8`, and my kernel version is `5.15.1-arch1-1`. I tried running Docker in debug mode to see more detailed logs, but it still doesn't provide any additional insight into why `/etc/resolv.conf` isn't being recognized within the container. I've ensured that my user is part of the `docker` group, so permissions shouldn't be an scenario. Any guidance on how to troubleshoot this further would be much appreciated! Has anyone else encountered this? Any feedback is welcome! I'd really appreciate any guidance on this.
