OCI Resource Manager scenarios to Apply Terraform Configuration with 'InvalidParameter' scenarios
Could someone explain I'm converting an old project and I'm building a feature where I'm trying to deploy infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using Resource Manager, but I keep working with an 'InvalidParameter' behavior... My Terraform configuration is designed to create a VCN and a subnet, but during the plan phase, I see the following behavior: ``` behavior: InvalidParameter The subnet has invalid parameters. ``` I've double-checked the CIDR block and the availability domain, and both seem correct. Here's a snippet of my Terraform code: ```hcl provider "oci" { region = "us-ashburn-1" } resource "oci_core_virtual_network" "my_vcn" { cidr_block = "10.0.0.0/16" display_name = "my-vcn" } resource "oci_core_subnet" "my_subnet" { virtual_network_id = oci_core_virtual_network.my_vcn.id cidr_block = "10.0.1.0/24" display_name = "my-subnet" availability_domain = "<your_availability_domain>" route_table_id = oci_core_route_table.my_route_table.id } ``` I've ensured that the route table with `my_route_table` exists, but I suspect that the scenario might be related to how I'm referencing the availability domain. When I input `oci_identity_availability_domain` to dynamically fetch the domain, I get the same behavior. Hereβs that section: ```hcl data "oci_identity_availability_domain" "ad" { compartment_id = var.compartment_id } resource "oci_core_subnet" "my_subnet" { virtual_network_id = oci_core_virtual_network.my_vcn.id cidr_block = "10.0.1.0/24" display_name = "my-subnet" availability_domain = data.oci_identity_availability_domain.ad.name route_table_id = oci_core_route_table.my_route_table.id } ``` Could this be a question with the way I'm defining the availability domain, or is there another parameter I might be missing? I've looked through the OCI Terraform provider documentation and the example configurations, but I still need to find a solution to this scenario. Any insights would be appreciated! I'd be grateful for any help. I'm on Windows 11 using the latest version of Hcl. Any ideas how to fix this?
