GitHub Actions failing to deploy with 'No matching workflow file found' despite correct path
I'm stuck on something that should probably be simple. I'm encountering an issue where my GitHub Actions workflow is not deploying as expected. The workflow file is located in the `.github/workflows/deploy.yml` path, but I keep receiving the error message: `No matching workflow file found for push event`. I've verified that the YAML syntax is correct, and I've even tried changing the workflow name. Hereβs the relevant part of my `deploy.yml`: ```yaml name: Deploy on: push: branches: - main jobs: deploy: runs-on: ubuntu-latest steps: - name: Checkout code uses: actions/checkout@v2 - name: Deploy to server run: ./deploy.sh ``` When I push changes to the `main` branch, the workflow doesn't seem to trigger at all. I have also checked the repository settings and ensured that Actions are enabled for this repository. I even tried creating a new workflow file named `test.yml` as a simple test with just a print statement, but it still did not trigger. The only recent change I made was to enable branch protection rules for `main`. Could that be affecting my workflows? Any suggestions on how to debug this further would be greatly appreciated. Is there a better approach?
