Excel: VLOOKUP with Multiple Criteria Returning Incorrect Results in Office 365
I'm a bit lost with I'm refactoring my project and Quick question that's been bugging me - I'm having trouble using VLOOKUP to retrieve data based on multiple criteria in Excel 365....... My data is structured in a table where I want to look up a value based on two columns: 'Product ID' and 'Region'. However, when I try to use VLOOKUP combined with a concatenation of these two criteria, I keep getting the `#N/A` behavior or incorrect matches. My concatenated key looks like this: ```excel =VLOOKUP(A2 & B2, CONCATENATE(Table1[Product ID], "-", Table1[Region]), 3, FALSE) ``` This formula aims to look for a match in the first two columns of my table, but I suspect the concatenation isn't working as expected. I've also tried using INDEX and MATCH: ```excel =INDEX(Table1[Sales], MATCH(A2 & B2, Table1[Product ID] & "-" & Table1[Region], 0)) ``` This also results in `#N/A`, and I’ve verified that the concatenation format matches exactly with the values in my table. I have used array formulas and even entered them with Ctrl + Shift + Enter, yet I still need to get the expected results. Has anyone experienced a similar scenario or could anyone suggest a more reliable way to achieve this lookup with multiple criteria? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! For context: I'm using Excel on Windows. Am I missing something obvious? For context: I'm using Excel on CentOS. Thanks for taking the time to read this! I appreciate any insights! My development environment is Debian. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
