HTML <iframe> displaying blank content from local file on Chrome but works in Firefox
I'm experiencing an scenario where an <iframe> is supposed to display local HTML content, but it shows a blank page in Chrome..... The same code works perfectly in Firefox. Here's the relevant part of my code: ```html <iframe src="file:///C:/path/to/myfile.html" width="600" height="400"></iframe> ``` When I load this in Chrome, I see a blank iframe, but in Firefox, the content loads without any problems. I've checked the permissions in Chrome, and it seems to allow local file access. I've also tried adjusting the security settings in Chrome by launching it with the `--allow-file-access-from-files` flag, but that didn't seem to resolve the scenario either. I am using Chrome version 117.0.5938.92 on Windows 10. The local file Iām trying to access is quite simple, just some basic HTML with a few elements: ```html <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>Test File</title> </head> <body> <h1>Hello, World!</h1> <p>This is a test file to check iframe rendering.</p> </body> </html> ``` I've also tried placing the HTML file in different directories and using relative paths, but I still see a blank page in Chrome. Is there a way to diagnose what might be going wrong with the rendering in Chrome's iframe? Any help would be appreciated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
