Next.js Image Component Reloads on Route Change Even with `priority` Prop Set
I'm collaborating on a project where I'm experiencing an scenario where the Next.js Image component reloads the image every time I navigate between pages, even though I've set the `priority` prop... I've tried caching strategies and even verified that the image is correctly served from the CDN without issues. Here's a snippet of my component: ```javascript import Image from 'next/image'; const MyComponent = () => { return ( <div> <Image src="/images/my-image.jpg" alt="Description of image" width={500} height={300} priority /> </div> ); }; export default MyComponent; ``` I've also checked the Network tab in Chrome DevTools, and I can see that the image is being fetched anew with each page transition instead of being served from the browser cache. I am using Next.js version 12.0.7 and I'm not sure if there's something wrong in my implementation or if this is a known scenario with the Image component. Any insights on why this might be happening or how to ensure the image is cached correctly would be really helpful. Is there a better approach? I'm using Javascript LTS in this project. Thanks, I really appreciate it! I'm on CentOS using the latest version of Javascript. What would be the recommended way to handle this?
