How to Configure Azure App Service for Custom Domain with SSL Using Let's Encrypt?
I tried several approaches but none seem to work. I'm currently trying to configure a custom domain for my Azure App Service, and I want to set it up with a free SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt. Despite following the official Azure documentation, I keep running into issues when trying to bind the certificate to my custom domain. I've mapped my custom domain correctly and verified it using the Azure Portal. However, when I try to generate the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate using the Azure Let's Encrypt extension, I receive the following behavior: ``` Could not create certificate: Let's Encrypt responded with an behavior: The domain is not pointing to this Azure App Service. ``` I've double-checked that the domain's DNS settings are correct. The CNAME records are pointing to `myapp.azurewebsites.net`, and I have the necessary A records set up. My App Service is running on .NET Core 3.1, and I've installed the Azure Let's Encrypt extension via the App Service Extensions blade in the portal. Hereβs a snippet of how Iβm trying to configure the extension: ```json { "site": { "id": "/subscriptions/{subscription-id}/resourceGroups/{resource-group}/providers/Microsoft.Web/sites/{app-service-name}", "name": "myapp", "kind": "app", "location": "West US" }, "hostname": "www.mycustomdomain.com" } ``` I've restarted the app service, removed and re-added the custom domain, and waited, but the question continues. Is there a specific step I might be missing? Also, how can I log detailed output from the Let's Encrypt extension to help diagnose the scenario further? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm working with Json in a Docker container on Windows 11. Has anyone else encountered this?
