HTML Table Column Alignment Issues in Bootstrap 5 - advanced patterns with Flexbox

I'm upgrading from an older version and I'm integrating two systems and I'm performance testing and Does anyone know how to I'm working with a frustrating scenario with column alignment in an HTML table when using Bootstrap 5..... I have a simple table designed to display user data, but the columns are not aligning as expected, especially when I apply the `d-flex` class to a parent div. It seems that rows are not respecting the column widths specified in the CSS. Hereโ€™s the relevant part of my code: ```html <div class="container"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-sm-12"> <table class="table"> <thead> <tr> <th>Name</th> <th>Email</th> <th>Age</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>John Doe</td> <td>john.doe@example.com</td> <td>28</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Jane Smith</td> <td>jane.smith@example.com</td> <td>34</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> </div> </div> ``` I also added some custom CSS to maintain the width of each column like this: ```css .table th, .table td { width: 33%; text-align: left; } ``` However, when I view the table, the columns are not evenly distributed, and sometimes the text in the cells spills over into adjacent columns, especially in the email column. I tried removing the `d-flex` class from the parent div, but the alignment scenario continues. I'm testing this in Chrome 117, and Iโ€™ve also checked the rendering in Firefox with similar results. I donโ€™t get any behavior messages in the console, but I wonder if it has something to do with the Bootstrap table or flexbox properties interfering. Has anyone else encountered similar alignment issues with Bootstrap tables, and how did you resolve them? Any insights would be appreciated! What are your experiences with this? This is for a REST API running on Windows 10. I'm working with Html in a Docker container on Windows 10. Am I missing something obvious? I'm developing on Debian with Html. Any ideas how to fix this? This issue appeared after updating to Html LTS.
