AWS CloudFormation implementing in CREATE_IN_PROGRESS State for S3 Bucket with Lifecycle Policy

aws cloudformation s3 yaml

I'm experimenting with Can someone help me understand I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but I'm currently working with an scenario with an AWS CloudFormation stack that seems to be exploring in the `CREATE_IN_PROGRESS` state for an S3 bucket resource. This S3 bucket is configured with a lifecycle policy that transitions objects to Glacier after 30 days. My CloudFormation template looks like this: ```yaml Resources: MyS3Bucket: Type: AWS::S3::Bucket Properties: BucketName: my-unique-bucket-name LifecycleConfiguration: Rules: - Id: TransitionToGlacier Status: Enabled ExpirationInDays: 365 Transitions: - TransitionInDays: 30 StorageClass: GLACIER ``` When I run the stack, it gets exploring, and I need to find any logs or events that indicate what is going wrong. I even checked the CloudFormation events and it just keeps showing `CREATE_IN_PROGRESS` without any progress. I tried increasing the timeout settings for the stack, but that didn't help either. I also verified that the bucket name is unique across all AWS regions, and I've confirmed that there are no other dependencies blocking the stack creation. Running the command `aws cloudformation describe-stack-events --stack-name <your-stack-name>` shows no further details either. Has anyone experienced a similar scenario with S3 buckets in CloudFormation, especially with lifecycle policies? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm using Yaml stable in this project. I'm open to any suggestions. This is for a application running on Ubuntu 22.04.
