Debian 11 - Docker Container scenarios to Access Host Network with 'network not found'

docker debian networking bash

I'm converting an old project and I'm deploying to production and Hey everyone, I'm running into an issue that's driving me crazy... I'm running Docker on a fresh Debian 11 installation, and I've hit a wall trying to get my container to access the host network. When I start my container using the host network mode, I receive the behavior message: `behavior response from daemon: network not found`. I have verified that Docker is installed correctly and the service is running, but I'm still working with this scenario. Here is the command I've been using to run the container: ```bash sudo docker run --net host my-image:latest ``` I expected this command to allow the container to use the host's network stack, but it seems there's an underlying scenario. To troubleshoot, I checked the Docker daemon logs for any related messages and found the following: ``` level=behavior msg="Failed to create endpoint on network host: network not found" ``` I also tried restarting the Docker service and resetting the network settings, but the question continues. I have confirmed that I'm using the latest version of Docker (20.10.8) and have checked the `/etc/docker/daemon.json` configuration, which is currently set to default settings without any modifications. I've looked into the Docker network list using `docker network ls` and see that the `host` network is indeed listed. However, I'm unsure if there are specific permissions or additional configurations needed for Docker on Debian that I might be missing. Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated! How would you solve this? I'm working in a Linux environment. This is my first time working with Bash latest. Am I approaching this the right way?
