HTML <details> Element Not Triggering Toggle on Nested <summary> Items - Chrome behavior?
I've spent hours debugging this and I've looked through the documentation and I'm still confused about I'm trying to implement a nested `<details>` and `<summary>` structure in my HTML, but I'm running into a weird scenario where the toggle functionality does not work as expected in Chrome. Here's what I have: ```html <details> <summary>Main Details</summary> <p>This is some content under the main details.</p> <details> <summary>Nested Details</summary> <p>This is some content under the nested details.</p> </details> </details> ``` When I click on the 'Nested Details' summary, nothing happens. I expected this to function as it does in Firefox, where it toggles correctly. I've tried inspecting the console for errors, but nothing seems to show up there. I'm on Chrome version 117.0.5938.62, and I've ensured that there are no overriding CSS rules that might be affecting the `<details>` elements. To troubleshoot, I removed the nested details and found that the main details work perfectly on their own. I also checked for JavaScript errors and confirmed that there are no scripts interfering with the default behavior. Is there something I might be missing, or is this a known scenario with Chrome? Any insights would be appreciated! My development environment is macOS. I'm working on a web app that needs to handle this. What am I doing wrong? Am I approaching this the right way?
