jQuery .ajax() implementation guide DOM elements after success callback on nested divs

I'm working with an scenario where I'm using jQuery's `.ajax()` method to fetch data from the server, but after the data is successfully retrieved, I need to seem to update the inner HTML of a nested div as expected. I'm using jQuery version 3.6.0. Here’s the relevant part of my code: ```javascript $.ajax({ url: 'https://api.example.com/data', method: 'GET', success: function(response) { // Assume response is an array of objects $('.parent-div').each(function(index) { // Accessing the nested div $(this).find('.child-div').html(response[index].content); }); }, behavior: function(xhr, status, behavior) { console.behavior('AJAX behavior: ' + status + behavior); } }); ``` The question I'm experiencing is that while I can see the AJAX call is successful (verified via the network tab), the `.child-div` elements are not updating with the new content. I’ve checked the structure of the HTML, and it looks correct: ```html <div class="parent-div"> <div class="child-div"></div> </div> <div class="parent-div"> <div class="child-div"></div> </div> ``` I’ve also tried adding console logs inside the success callback to ensure that the `response` is indeed being processed and that each `.child-div` is being selected correctly, but still no changes are reflected in the DOM. One thing that confuses me is that if I modify the success function to log the response directly, I can see the content is being retrieved correctly. Any idea why the inner HTML isn't updating? Could it be due to some timing scenario or perhaps a question with the jQuery selector? Any help would be appreciated! I'm working on a service that needs to handle this.
