Ubuntu 22.04 - Docker Container scenarios to Start with 'cgroup: mountpoint for cgroup not found'
This might be a silly question, but I'm stuck on something that should probably be simple... I'm trying to run a Docker container on my Ubuntu 22.04 server, but I keep working with the behavior message: `cgroup: mountpoint for cgroup not found`. This happens when I execute the command `docker run -it ubuntu:latest bash`. I have ensured that Docker is installed correctly and is running using `systemctl status docker`, which returns active (running). I checked my cgroup configuration in `/etc/default/grub`, and it appears to be set to `cgroup=memory`. However, I suspect that the scenario arises from the cgroup version. After running `docker info`, the cgroup version is displayed as `cgroup v2`. I previously attempted to start the container with the `--privileged` flag, but the scenario continues. I also tried changing the cgroup driver in Docker's daemon configuration located at `/etc/docker/daemon.json`: ```json { "data-root": "/var/lib/docker", "storage-driver": "overlay2", "cgroup-parent": "/docker.slice" } ``` After modifying `daemon.json`, I restarted the Docker service using `sudo systemctl restart docker`, but this did not resolve the scenario. I'm unsure how to proceed with configuring cgroups properly for Docker on Ubuntu 22.04. Is there a specific setting I need to adjust to get my Docker containers running again? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! I've been using Shell for about a year now. Any feedback is welcome!
