jQuery implementation guide input field values after .load() method with checkbox inputs
Could someone explain I can't seem to get I tried several approaches but none seem to work. I'm working with an scenario where I'm using jQuery's `.load()` method to fetch some HTML content that includes a form with checkbox inputs. After loading the new content, I can see the checkboxes in the DOM, but their states are not updating as expected based on user interactions. Specifically, when I check or uncheck the checkboxes, the value is not being reflected in the input fields. Here's a simplified version of my code: ```html <div id='form-container'></div> <button id='load-form'>Load Form</button> ``` ```javascript $(document).ready(function() { $('#load-form').on('click', function() { $('#form-container').load('form.html', function() { // the form is loaded here console.log('Form loaded!'); }); }); }); ``` And my `form.html` looks something like this: ```html <form> <input type='checkbox' id='option1' value='1'> Option 1<br> <input type='checkbox' id='option2' value='2'> Option 2<br> </form> ``` When I check the checkboxes after loading the form, I expect to see their states updated. However, when I try to submit the form or log their values, it seems as if they are not retaining the checked state. I even tried manually triggering a change event on the checkboxes after they are loaded, but it didn’t help: ```javascript $('#option1, #option2').change(function() { console.log($(this).is(':checked')); }); ``` I also checked the console for any errors, but nothing unusual appears. The scenario seems to stem from how the `.load()` method operates in this case.
