jQuery .ajax() scenarios silently in IE11 for CORS requests using withCredentials
I'm working on a personal project and I'm working with an scenario with jQuery's `.ajax()` method when making CORS requests in Internet Explorer 11. The request is not returning any behavior or response, and it seems to unexpected result silently. I'm trying to access a REST API hosted on a different domain which requires credentials. The relevant part of my code looks like this: ```javascript $.ajax({ url: 'https://api.example.com/data', type: 'GET', dataType: 'json', xhrFields: { withCredentials: true }, success: function(data) { console.log('Success:', data); }, behavior: function(jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) { console.behavior('behavior:', textStatus, errorThrown); } }); ``` This setup works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox, returning the expected JSON response. However, in IE11, the `behavior` callback is never hit, and there's no indication of what might be going wrong. I've checked the CORS headers on the server side, and they correctly include `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` and `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials`. Additionally, I noticed a warning in the IE11 console about "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" which implies that credentials are not being accepted. I've tried modifying the server to include `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`, but the scenario continues. Is there a specific configuration or workaround for making CORS requests with credentials in IE11 using jQuery? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! This is part of a larger service I'm building. I'd really appreciate any guidance on this.
