HTML `<details>` element not expanding in Edge when using nested elements
I've been struggling with this for a few days now and could really use some help. Does anyone know how to After trying multiple solutions online, I still can't figure this out. I've been struggling with this for a few days now and could really use some help. I'm experiencing a strange scenario with the `<details>` element in HTML where it's not expanding properly in Microsoft Edge when I include nested elements like `<ul>` or `<table>`. The intended behavior is that when the `<summary>` is clicked, the nested elements should be visible. However, in Edge (version 18.18362), clicking the summary does not trigger the expansion, and I see no errors in the console. Hereβs a simplified version of my code: ```html <details> <summary>Click me to see more</summary> <ul> <li>Item 1</li> <li>Item 2</li> <li>Item 3</li> </ul> </details> ``` Iβve also tried adding CSS to force visibility, but nothing seems to work. The same code works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox. I've tested this on multiple Windows machines with no change. Iβve checked the compatibility table on MDN, and it indicates that Edge should support the `<details>` element. I even played around with adding attributes like `open` and `disabled` to see if they might make a difference, but they didn't help either. Has anyone else encountered this scenario, or could there be a workaround? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! My development environment is Windows. What am I doing wrong? My development environment is Linux. What am I doing wrong? Am I approaching this the right way? Has anyone dealt with something similar?
