Eclipse 2023-09: implementing Lombok Annotations Not Being Recognized in Spring Boot Project
I'm trying to debug I'm currently working with an scenario with the Lombok library in my Spring Boot project while using Eclipse 2023-09..... Despite having the Lombok dependency included in my `pom.xml`, Eclipse does not recognize Lombok annotations, which leads to numerous compilation errors. My `pom.xml` includes the following dependency: ```xml <dependency> <groupId>org.projectlombok</groupId> <artifactId>lombok</artifactId> <version>1.18.24</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency> ``` I've also installed the Lombok plugin for Eclipse, and I confirmed that it is enabled in the Eclipse marketplace. However, when I try to use annotations like `@Getter`, `@Setter`, or `@Data`, I still see errors like "want to resolve symbol 'Getter'". Iβve tried cleaning and rebuilding the project multiple times, and I even ran `mvn clean install` from the terminal to ensure that dependencies are correctly handled. Additionally, I've checked the IDE's preferences under Java -> Compiler -> Annotation Processing to ensure that annotation processing is enabled. Hereβs a snippet of my code where Iβm using Lombok: ```java import lombok.Getter; import lombok.Setter; @Getter @Setter public class User { private String username; private String password; } ``` When I hover over the annotations, Eclipse prompts that they are unrecognized, which is quite frustrating. Is there something I'm missing in my configuration that prevents Lombok from being recognized in this setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated! What's the correct way to implement this? Any feedback is welcome!
