I am trying to create a dynamic dropdown list in Excel using data validation, but I notice that the list does not update automatically after I add new items to the source range... I am using Excel 2019. The source range is defined as a table so that it should expand automatically, yet the dropdown still shows the old values. Hereโ€™s how I defined my named range: ```excel MyList = OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1, 0, 0, COUNTA(Sheet1!$A:$A), 1) ``` I have set up the data validation like this: 1. Select the cell where I want the dropdown. 2. Go to Data -> Data Validation. 3. Under Allow, I select โ€˜Listโ€™. In the Source, I enter `=MyList`. Initially, it worked fine, but after I added new values to column A, the dropdown did not reflect these changes. When I try to click on the dropdown, it still shows the previous values. I attempted re-entering the data validation settings but it didnโ€™t resolve the scenario. Interestingly, if I close and reopen the file, the dropdown updates correctly. I wonder if this is a known scenario or if Iโ€™m missing a step for the dynamic updates to take effect immediately. Any advice on how to make the dropdown list reflect the latest data without needing to restart Excel? For context: I'm using Excel on Linux. Has anyone else encountered this? Has anyone else encountered this?
