I'm working through a tutorial and I've spent hours debugging this and I need help solving I'm upgrading from an older version and I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but I'm trying to use the INDEX and MATCH functions to pull data from a table based on two criteria: a product ID and a sales region..... However, I'm working with issues where the formula sometimes returns incorrect results or #N/A errors when I know there should be a match. Here's the formula I'm currently using: ```excel =INDEX(SalesData!C:C, MATCH(1, (SalesData!A:A=ProductID)*(SalesData!B:B=Region), 0)) ``` In this formula, `SalesData!A:A` contains the product IDs, `SalesData!B:B` contains the regions, and `SalesData!C:C` contains the sales amounts I want to return. I'm entering this as an array formula (using Ctrl+Shift+Enter), but it seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes I get the expected value, but other times it gives me #N/A. I've checked that both `ProductID` and `Region` match the data types (text vs. number) and there are no extra spaces in the cells. I also tried using TRIM and VALUE functions to clean up the data, but the scenario continues. Could the question lie in the way I'm structuring my MATCH function? Are there better practices for handling multiple criteria in Excel? Any insights would be appreciated! My development environment is Windows. I'd really appreciate any guidance on this. This is part of a larger service I'm building. I'd really appreciate any guidance on this. I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 using the latest version of Excel. Is there a simpler solution I'm overlooking? This issue appeared after updating to Excel 3.10. What are your experiences with this? I'm on macOS using the latest version of Excel.
