HTML5 `<input type='date'>` Not Displaying Correctly on Firefox 114 Using `lang` Attribute
Quick question that's been bugging me - I'm working with a frustrating scenario with the HTML5 `<input type='date'>` element not displaying correctly in Firefox version 114 when using the `lang` attribute in my HTML document. The date picker appears but does not render the calendar interface properly, showing a blank space instead. Here's the simplified structure of my form: ```html <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en"> <head> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> <title>Date Input scenario</title> </head> <body> <form> <label for="event-date">Choose a date:</label> <input type="date" id="event-date" name="event-date"> </form> </body> </html> ``` I ensured that my Firefox browser is updated to the latest version, and I have tried clearing the cache and cookies without any improvement. Oddly enough, this scenario doesn't appear in Chrome or Edge, where the date picker works as expected. I have also tested the input tag without the `lang` attribute and still face the same scenario, which leads me to suspect it might be connected to some styling or script conflict. In my CSS, I have this: ```css body { font-family: Arial, sans-serif; } ``` No JavaScript is manipulating the `<input>` elements directly. Are there any known compatibility issues with Firefox and the date input type when using specific attributes like `lang`? Or could there be something else I might be overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
