jQuery .load() implementation guide content with external HTML file after cache is cleared
I'm collaborating on a project where I'm trying to configure I've searched everywhere and can't find a clear answer... After trying multiple solutions online, I still can't figure this out. However, after clearing my browser's cache, the content doesn't seem to update when I reload the page. I expected the new content to appear, but it still shows the old version. Here's the code snippet I'm using: ```javascript $(document).ready(function() { $('#myDiv').load('content.html'); }); ``` I've tested this in multiple browsers and even tried adding a cache-busting query string like so: ```javascript $('#myDiv').load('content.html?v=' + new Date().getTime()); ``` Unfortunately, that didn't resolve the scenario either. The console doesn't show any errors, and I've verified that `content.html` is being fetched correctly with the network tab in the developer tools. I also checked the server settings to ensure that caching is not enforced on the HTML file. Is there a best practice or a specific configuration I might be missing to ensure that `.load()` fetches the latest content? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! How would you solve this? What's the best practice here? What am I doing wrong? Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'm using Javascript LTS in this project. Is there a better approach?
