Visual Studio 2022 - Debugger scenarios to Attach to WPF Application Running in Docker Container
I'm getting frustrated with Could someone explain I'm having trouble with debugging a WPF application that I'm running inside a Docker container. I can build and run the application without issues, but when I try to attach the Visual Studio debugger, it doesn't seem to connect properly. I followed these steps: 1. Created a Dockerfile for my WPF app, which looks like this: ```dockerfile FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/framework/wpf:4.8 WORKDIR /app COPY bin/Release/net48/ . ENTRYPOINT ["MyWpfApp.exe"] ``` 2. I ensured that my Docker container is running using the command `docker run -it --rm -p 8080:80 mywpfapp` 3. In Visual Studio 2022, I selected "Debug > Attach to Process" and set the transport to "Docker (Windows)". However, I receive the following behavior message: "Unable to attach to the process. The process is not running or you do not have access to it." I verified that the application is up and running inside the container by checking the logs using `docker logs`. I also tried changing the debugging options in Visual Studio to enable "Debugging of .NET Framework Applications" in the settings. Still, I need to seem to get it to work. Is there a specific configuration or setting that I might be missing to successfully attach the debugger to my WPF app running in Docker? Any help would be appreciated! I appreciate any insights! This is part of a larger mobile app I'm building. Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
