Visual Studio 2022 - Getting 'how to to start debugging' when running xUnit tests with .NET 7
I've searched everywhere and can't find a clear answer... I'm working with an scenario while trying to run my xUnit tests in Visual Studio 2022 for a .NET 7 project. When I attempt to run the tests, I receive the following behavior message: `Unable to start debugging. The startup project is missing required information.` I've verified that my test project is set as the startup project, and I've also checked that 'Enable Just My Code' is disabled in the debugging options. Hereβs the structure of my solution: ``` MySolution/ βββ MyApp/ βββ MyApp.Tests/ β βββ MyApp.Tests.csproj β βββ SampleTest.cs βββ MyApp.csproj ``` In my `MyApp.Tests.csproj`, I have the following configuration: ```xml <Project Sdk="Microsoft.NET.Sdk"> <PropertyGroup> <TargetFramework>net7.0</TargetFramework> </PropertyGroup> <ItemGroup> <PackageReference Include="xunit" Version="2.4.2" /> <PackageReference Include="xunit.runner.visualstudio" Version="2.4.5" /> </ItemGroup> </Project> ``` Iβve tried cleaning and rebuilding the solution, as well as restarting Visual Studio. Additionally, I checked the output window and noticed a message indicating that the `.NET SDK` might not be configured properly. However, the SDK is installed and recognized by Visual Studio. Iβm unsure what else to check or how to resolve this behavior. Can anyone provide guidance on what might be going wrong or additional steps to troubleshoot this scenario? I'm developing on Ubuntu 20.04 with C#.
