I've spent hours debugging this and I'm refactoring my project and I can't seem to get I'm dealing with This might be a silly question, but I'm experiencing an scenario with code completion and syntax highlighting in my Kotlin project using Eclipse 2023-09... Despite having the Kotlin plugin installed and properly configured, Eclipse fails to recognize Kotlin files (.kt) and doesn't provide any autocompletion suggestions. This is particularly frustrating as I've double-checked my project settings and ensured that the Kotlin nature is enabled. I've tried the following steps: 1. Reinstalling the Kotlin plugin from the Eclipse marketplace. 2. Validating the Kotlin build path by checking that the Kotlin standard library is included. 3. Cleaning and rebuilding the project multiple times, but the scenario continues. 4. Checking the Eclipse behavior log for any relevant messages, but I found nothing out of the ordinary related to Kotlin. Hereโ€™s a snippet of my `build.gradle` file to show my dependencies: ```groovy plugins { id 'org.jetbrains.kotlin.jvm' version '1.7.10' } dependencies { implementation "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-stdlib" } ``` I also have the Kotlin compiler configured in Eclipse preferences. However, when typing in my Kotlin files, the syntax highlighting is missing, and the IDE doesnโ€™t suggest any methods or properties, making it hard to code efficiently. Has anyone else faced this scenario? Any insights into how I might resolve this would be greatly appreciated! Could this be a known issue? My development environment is Debian. Hoping someone can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance! I'm coming from a different tech stack and learning Kotlin. Thanks for any help you can provide!
