HTML5 Video Element Not Playing on iOS Safari - how to to Load Resource
This might be a silly question, but I've been working on this all day and I can't seem to get I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but I'm working with an scenario with the HTML5 `` element where the video fails to play on iOS Safari... The video loads fine on desktop browsers, but on iOS devices, I get an behavior: 'Unable to load resource'. I have checked the video format and confirmed it's an MP4 file encoded with H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec, which should be supported. Here's the relevant code: ```html Your browser does not support the video tag. ``` I've tried adjusting the video file settings, ensuring it plays correctly in other browsers and devices without issues. I've also set the `preload` attribute to `metadata` in case it was a loading scenario: ```html Your browser does not support the video tag. ``` However, the question continues. Additionally, I made sure that the video is hosted on a server with CORS headers correctly set up, but this doesn't seem to solve the scenario. Any insights on why this might be happening specifically on iOS Safari? Are there any specific configurations or debugging steps I should consider? I'm working on a application that needs to handle this. My development environment is CentOS. I'd really appreciate any guidance on this.
