Apache 2.4.54 - Problems with Custom scenarios Documents Not Displaying Correctly
I'm upgrading from an older version and After trying multiple solutions online, I still can't figure this out. I'm migrating some code and I'm stuck on something that should probably be simple. I'm having trouble with my custom behavior documents not displaying as expected in Apache 2.4.54. I've configured a few custom behavior pages for various HTTP status codes, but when I trigger a 404 behavior, it shows the default Apache behavior message instead of my custom document. I've added the following lines to my configuration file: ```apache ErrorDocument 404 /custom_404.html ErrorDocument 500 /custom_500.html ErrorDocument 403 /custom_403.html ``` I've ensured that the paths are correct and that the custom HTML files are accessible with the right permissions. However, when I try to access a non-existent page, I still see the default Apache behavior message. I've also checked the logs, and there are no relevant behavior messages indicating any issues with serving the custom behavior documents. To troubleshoot, I’ve tried restarting Apache and clearing my browser cache, but nothing seems to work. I’m also running this instance behind a reverse proxy, so I wonder if that could be affecting how errors are handled. Can anyone suggest what could be going wrong here, or if there are additional configurations I might need to set up for the behavior documents to work correctly? For context: I'm using Apache on Windows. I'm on Debian using the latest version of Apache. What am I doing wrong? This is part of a larger web app I'm building. Am I missing something obvious?
